Sweet Potato Casserole
This casserole is more of a dessert than a side item. The crust can also be used to top pies and is really the star of this dish.

Instructions
Step 1
Combine 3 cup(s) mashed sweet potatoes (or canned yams drained), 1 cup(s) sugar, 1/4 cup(s) whole milk, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract, and 1 stick butter and mix well. Add in 1 cup(s) shredded coconut flakes.
Step 2
Pour mixture into a casserole dish.
Step 3
Combine 1 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar, 1 1/4 sticks butter, 2/3 cup(s) flour, and 1 1/4 cup(s) chopped pecans to make a streusel topping to place on top of the casserole.
Step 4
Bake at 350 for about an hour.
